I'm not sure if this has been posted, sorry if it has, but this DRB application has some old stuff and new stuff concerning Piazza Bergamo, the most exciting of which is a neat shade structure.

It was nice to see all of the specifics. Construction should begin in August and be completed in December. It's nice to see that there will be 6 new bike racks scattered around the block, and 3 recycling bins (one on Main @ Coffee, and two on North Laurens).

The outdoors space is going to be incredibly dynamic! I'm excited for this!

Second high rise started rising today. Building permit was filed last week for it. Both buildings will now be going for LEED Gold certification also. Originally, they were just going for silver.

The 9-story building hasn't topped out yet, has it?

Nope. They are starting construction on the 11-story building a little earlier than planned due to CertusBank apparently beginning to burst at the seams in their current leased spaces.

Their decision may have also been adjusted to account for the forecasted arrival of El Niño (lots of rain) later this year.
