Wow, in MA they would have sandblasted the old signs right off instead of restoring them. I always wondered why they weren't also considered historic?

I always think those old signs are cool & I wish more old buildings here still had them on. Why do they sand blast them off? They add so much to old buildings.

Yeah pretty much every building in Bricktown has those old painted signs. It really adds to the historic feel and the new owners always leave them despite these businesses being long gone.

I will try to get some updated Bricktown pics up. It has changed a lot.
