Amazing Race in PA

CBS's "Amazing Race" took a turn into PA last night. After starting out in the predictable New York City, the contestants were told to go to Washington Crossing State Park in Bucks County. They then drove to their pit stop on Belmont Plateau in Philly. The next day, they went to Lancaster County and to their next pit stop.

Unfortunately, the show spent way too much time in New York (a city they've done several times before) and not enough time in Philly. The Philly urban scenes amounted to just scenes of some of the contestants getting lost on Vine Street (not exactly the most attractive street at that). The pit stop on Belmont Plateau, while giving a good view of the city skyline, was not enough to show off the city. Hopefully, they will be back but previews of the next episode seem to show that the contestants will be off to Gettysburg next. Perhaps they will be on their way back to Philly to fly off to their next destination. However, it looks like this season may be gearing up to be an all domestic season. Perhaps Pittsburgh will be their next pit stop?
