Once I-49 is built, its tourism numbers will probably increase exponentially. I've been there a few times, and they always seem to have a decent number of people.

I-49 should cut through the ridge.

Rich Mountain is like 70-80 feet shorter than Mount Magazine.

The first is magic springs theme park, the second is downtown, the third is lake hamilton.

Yes Johnny nice pics. And yes Hot Springs isn't a place you should overlook. It's a pretty nice place. It's not as urban as other places in Arkansas but it has a lot of potential.

It seems to be full of potential, and it looks beautiful.

I may be able to visit Hot Springs next summer after I drive up to Texarkana to visit my family, hopefully I will be able to!

Since some people may be put off by my now large thread or the large size of the pictures I thought I'd post a few of my favorites over here occasionally. I resized them so they will a little more managable on people's screens. Anyway here's a couple I liked quite a bit that I took yesterday.

Those pictures make me miss the drive up I-540 to Fayetteville for football games, the hills are just gorgeous. With the Hogs playing the way they are, I won't be making that trip again until Nutt is canned.
