I don't usually do this type of thing but I like you guys so here goes:

Occupation: Own a part in a computer biz, but really just a glorified house-husband

School: The Florida State University B.A. Geography, M.A Urban Planning Ohio University

Born: Montgomery, AL

I worked as a City Planner for seven years at The City of Boca Raton, FL I love Tallahassee and actually chose to move here several years ago.

Other Cities I've lived in: Troy, AL, Altamonte Springs, FL, Athens, OH, St. Louis, MO, Boca Raton, FL, Fort Lauderdale, FL, Tallahassee, FL

T.J. I think your dedication and pictures to this site are awesome and are the reason why I joined. Please keep up the good work and know that it is appreciated and admired.

I purposely didn't mention the ads to see if anyone would spot them. You are the first to report seeing them!! They've been at FSU for going on 3 weeks now... maybe 4. I said they would pay off if they brought us one new member, and look what happened! This is awesome... I'm going to try to put up more soon.

I recently joined this forum per Poonther's recommendation and in part because of TJ's boundless enthusiam and great pictures. I recently purchased a duplex downtown and I am thrilled to see the changes underway to downtown Tally and the rest of the city.

29 years old, graduate of FSU in Biology and an environmental consultant.

I moved here in 1994 and once I graduated I decided to stay in Tallahassee. I love the size, the people, and just the general easy and wonderful quality of life.

Looking forward to more pictures from TJ and reading all about the changing face of Tallahassee.

Big thanks to Poonther for bringing you to us!! Thanks for all of your kind words! Glad you decided to join! And hopefully we'll see you postin' a ton around here.

I'll keep those pictures coming... currently I'm in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, but I've taken some pictures of the homeland (Tallahassee) to keep posting as Picture of the day until I return.

This is great you all!! The UrbanPlanet-Tallahassee has really taken off!

Who Am I (in sticking with TJ's original format)...

I'm not a resident of Tallahassee, but I've been there a number of times and I even married my very own Seminole Princess. :wub: I've enjoyed reading the Tallahassee threads immensely. This is one of the best organized forums on all of Urban Planet. Great Job!

Greetings Everyone,

I have been in Tallahassee for five years, originally as a short-term graduate student, but now plan to make the city my home for a good long while. I work for the FSU Museum of Fine Arts and College of Visual Arts and Dance as associate curator and coordinator of the FDCA Art in State Buildings Program. I have been reading TaureanJ's most excellent Tallahassee edition of Urbanplanet daily since its inception and finally decided to join.
