is a positive bad? Does that mean the vacancy rate has gone up?

I was wondering this as well. I was thinking, surely Atlanta isn't doing that well while all the other cities listed aren't.

I would think that if there is a positive move up in numbers then your vacancy rate increased. If there is a negative then the number decreased hence a smaller vacancy rate. As we have been discussing elsewhere in the southern forum however, vacancy rates are not always great indicators for how well a city is doing development wise. It helps but for every city that fits the mold, there is one or two that will blow the vacancy rate arguement out the window.

I voted for Charlotte, but I am surprised that Orlando did not get more votes than Atlanta. I debated between CLT and ORL for awhile but I had to side with my hometown.
