Any idea when the apartments/condos on the other side of the parking deck are suppose to start? Aren't they suppose to be 5 floors?

They are already under construction.

They have been pouring concrete everyday on the apartments so i know they are getting ready to start before to long. I think in the next two weeks or maybe even next week sometime youll start seeing more action down on the apartments.

The framework on parts of McBee are starting to take shape (the archways).....I can't wait to see this portion finished, as it is really giving McBee an urban feel (coming all the way to the sidewalk).

Will you guys be doing the brickwork on the apartments? Are the apartments even brick?

Ah, that explains why it is only a 2-story, hip-roofed building. I thought they may have quietly changed their plans. Fortumately I was wrong.

No we are not doing the brick work on the apartments. The guy wanted us too but he could not afford us. Looks like the the amigos will be slinging those brick in on the apartments. I hope they do as good a job as we have on the publix and staples. Remember though that we still have to brick all the condos which is a lot of area to cover as of yet.

Update: The apartments are starting to get going now. The club house for them has been framed up. Also one of the elevator shafts for the apartments is around 50 ft tall now. Drive by and take a look at it. It appears the apartments will be of considerable height judging by the height of the elevator shaft. You wont miss em. The publix had the first layer of asphalt put down the other day and it is progressing nicely. Im hearing sometime in June as the open date for the Publix. Just thought i would let you know some of this unless you have not heard it.

How's McBee Station coming along these days? When I was home last, the elevator shafts were up for two of the apartment buildings. Any more progress to report?
