The Current State of Real Estate in New Orleans

Recommended Posts

Very Interesting Article.

Personally, I think that the boom in real estate in New Orleans will be handled properly, and we wont have to worry about slowing down the city's rebuilding because there are no other places to build.

This is going to be one HOT real estate city for the next decade. Tens of thousands of brand new homes will need to be built to replace the many homes that will be razed. Interest in the city is high, nationwide. The real boom won't begin, though, for six months as tax issues need to be set in place and inducements are readily available for businesses to relocate or return to New Orleans.

The next few years will certainly be something to watch..
