Corner of Blossom and Main

Anyone know what's in store for the block at the corner of blossom and main st. (It's right across blossom from Adams bookstore and across assembly from the Strom Thurmond center). I've seen some re-zoning signs, and my first thought was that USC might be developing it into another research building. Any info on this?

I believe it has to do with the University's hydrogen cell research. There was something in the State paper recently - Sunday October 9?

Yeah, that's the Horizon block; it will be used as part of Innovista, the research campus. Construction should begin on the Horizon block by the end of the year.

okay i was trying to figure out what going up on that particular site, being that they cleared out the lot.
