 Nice article. My cousins live in NH and I always make fun of them for being 10 years behind everyone else. Are there tolls on I-93? I specifically remember my father going out of the way to take 93 to Lake Winipausaukee (spell??), and I'd assume it's because it would avoid tolls since he's such a cheap and impatient SOB.

btw, just noticed we have two Dover people here-that's where my cousins live, awesome small town. How's the whole Cocheco River thing goin?

The Everett Turnpike, which parrallels I-93 from the Mass. line to Manchester is a toll road, 93 is toll free.

Though between Manchester and Concord, there is a toll on 93.

The only thing I don't really like about ezpass is that the coins that you could but were better savings. Buying coins was a 50% whereas ezpass is only a 25% savings. And my dad goes though tolls everyday to work so it really only making a bigger headache for us.

My dad goes thru the Dover toll twice a day my mom goes thru the rochester one twice and then the dover one twice on the way to her second job in Portsmouth,so i can avoid the toll, but when i do go thru it the thing i dont like is that the ez pass is in the middle causing alot of traffic problems and headache, but small price for convienence :D

When will I-95 see EZ-Pass? I hate breaking a $20 bill for tolls, im spoiled with my EZPass :D

95 in NH? It's EZ-Pass now, and I believe 95 in Maine is as well. All the tolls in Massachusetts are on EZ-Pass too, though they also have FastLane.

fast lane is actually just a re-branded ez pass from the same company... MA had to be different.
