Thank you very much for this site - it provides some good concepts to consider when producing maps. It definitely signals home the importance of knowing the 'why' & 'what' the map is for, rather than the standard of using common templates. His maps are vivid, clear & simply attractive. But mostly they make you think.

Interesting site. I;m particularly impressed by the North American Subways Comparison. Very interesting to see how they all compare to each other in size.

The Errant Isle of Manhattan is also quite amusing as well.
