Planners focus on economic viability


Anthony and Natalie Novak, owners of House of Strings, say traffic comes through downtown Utica, but few stop. The city's downtown authority recently invested in brick walks and historic lighting.


In Utica's downtown, businesses began hurting when M-59 was widened.
