St. Petersburg: 13 story condo tower planned

The 13 story, $30 million condo tower will soon sit at the corner of 4th St and 4th Ave S.

The 140 unit project is expected to break ground this fall and take 14 months to build. Called "The Sage", this u-shaped building will sit directly across from the St. Pete Times parking lot and will include a 9 story, 220 space parking garage.

There are a lot of smaller townhouse projects u/c in that part of DT as well. That area is quietly developing into a nice urban neighborhood.

This project broke ground on Friday. Nothing all that high, but these types of buildings are giving downtown St.pete a very dense look.
