The Rotunda Building conversion

The building is completely empty, they've started adding aluminum sections for the rooms in each condo, as well as adding the scaffolding encasing the south side of the building, i believe they're working on encasing the entire building to add the top floor for penthouses. Additionally, they've begun a pretty big marketing campaign here at MacArthur, leading in from Freemason to the entrance in the North deck they've added banners, placed posted along the glass handrails along the second level, buttons on the valet staff, posters throughout the mall by the entrances as well.

Yeah, I couldn't believe it when I saw it. It's funny, I'm probably one of the few people who has actually been in that building (at least I feel like it); I'm amazed to see what they are doing with this building.

I'm thrilled by the project, absolutely thrilled! This will be one of the trendiest addresses in our city.

It's on their website, norfolkrotunda.com, also they have a sales area in MacArthur Center on the first floor. I've got some new clear pics, i'll post them this afternoon, of the penthouse floor being added.

If you look at the original rendering, the parking lot would be turned into a park type setting; however, six months ago they poured a fresh drive way around the curve towards MacArthur Center's North deck, it's been roped off every since it dried, i believe this will serve as the primary entrance. Probably one space per unit, i would imagine.

Being that the MacArthur North Garage is so close, they could offer leased spaces for residents.

Thats if they need more parking.

Yea, I live in downtown Norfolk. There is a private lot tho. I'm sure we pay for it, of course.

What are the rotunda condo fees? This can be a huge gotcha. In some areas developers are trying to get $1000/month in condo fees.
