Great photos! Although I don't speak French, a little digging tells me the Musee de l'Armee features the history of the French Army from the 1750's? I love the scale models of the different Army strongholds, and especially Mont Ste Michelle. Can't believe I have never been to France

I was hunting for pics of Les Invalides recently and yours are really great. Just want to mention that its dome was the inspiration for the dome of the West Virginia capitol, which has recently been regilded according to the original plan. Take a look at the link below. I wish I had a pic I could share, but it was just finished in early October. I think its beautiful.
