Such a peaceful thread. Some nice monuments too, but not tall enough. I wonder what the tallest monument to single dead person is in the US.

Thanks for the nice compliments, everyone! I didn't know there were any--I guess I'm not receiving e-mail notification.

As for the lack of tall monuments, there are many of the supertall, standard obelisks throughout the cemetery. I just don't find them all that interesting as far as photos go, but there are a few on my web page.

Urban cemeteries are great because the original buildings often survive because they face little development pressure. This one is a fantastic example. I'll definitely have to check out your site!!
