Memphis-Mississippi River Fog on 10.28

I don't know if any of you saw it, but Memphis had a unusual breathtaking view this morning. Fog lingered on the Missisippi River and the South Bluff area like something I've never seen. It was like Memphis was in the clouds. The very top portion of the I-40 bridge was all that could be seen in that area. Just south of FedEx forum you could not even see the top of Central Station apartments (8 stories?). None of the river or south end were visible. The sun cooked away the fog by 8:30, but folks at work who drove in on Riverside Drive said they could not see 3 feet in front of their cars. Did anyone get a photo of the fog? I snapped several that do about 50% justice, but I don't know how to post them. I really hope a professional got up early this morning by happenstance and will place the pics into the market.

For info on how to post photos and who to host them with, we have a whole thread going:

You'll find all the information you need there.

We do however have a whole other thread going on who offers good hosting services. Which is this thread:

I'll have to watch the Memphis Channel 5 News at 10 and see if they say anything about it the fog. They may show pics of it. I would be interested to see what it looked like.

Sidenote:I just got access to CH 5 and Ch 3 out of Memphis, I love being able to actually watch a big city news channel now for as simple of reasons as stuff like this. To boot I have Ch 5 Nashville too. :D It so cool to have big-market TV news, plus still retain all my little local market ones as well like Paducah, Cape, and Jackson.

Pray that you get WSMV Channel 4 from here in Nashville for the "laugh" factor if nothing else. Ch. 5 is good, but their butts are really really tight on the air. Channel 4 is a bit more loose.

I am happy fer ya!
