This has nothing to do with urbanism or Grand Rapids, but I was in Grand Haven yesterday and actually read the sign at the Grand Haven City Beach (south of the state park). Pay close attention to the list of things that are PROHIBITED.

Looks suspiciously like a different type font to me. And the overall design of the sign suggests ad hoc-ism. (Ordinance citation?)
