Had lunch at the Downtown Market and it was pretty packed today. Can't WAIT until I can get some Slow's for lunch.

 

Still working on my indoor shooting with the new camera...

That's not where Rosa Parks Circle is, that was buildings behind the photographer.  The red cross station in that picture sits where the Vandenberg statue now stands.

Also in that shot on the very right you can see the Powers Opera House, when it was built over the top of The Arcade (what is now an alley beside Flanagan's.  It used to be an open-air, covered shopping corridor.)

I think I remember hearing that building never had lettering on the top but I could be wrong.  There was something about that was unexpected, that I do remember for sure.

So was it added at a later date (not original to the building)? If you look closely you can see "W.H. Anderson" shadowed in the top of the building.
