Mayor's race here is heating up seems like there have been charges from the State Senator that Williams shouldn't be running since he as a Democrat failed to compete in the primary elections. The tight race is showing the worst of some residents (though only a small minority) of some racial tension in a city that over the last generation has seen its economic base evaporate and has been crippled by two major strikes in the last few years.
