According to a couple of articles ive read recently, the CDC is adding lots of new buildings to both the Emory area and Chamblee campus'. This article says there are 8 new buildings going up and a few of them will be relatively tall, like a 12 floor office building and a 484,000 sq. ft. laboratory tower, both currently under construction. perhaps a new little skyline will emerge in Chamblee?

That would be cool. God knows CDC, NIH, etc. need all of the space, resources, and manpower they can get. The more recent federal administrations' commitment to the sciences, including the field of public health, has been subpar, to say the least. But that's another topic for another day.
