The building is really a historic jewel to downtown. Just across the street from the Engineering office is the old Bradley County Jail. The old jail structure now houses extra offices for the 1st Cumberland Presbyterian Church which stands beside it.

This is a shot of the old jail buiding... This shot is from the porch of the Engineering Building... That massive church taking up the whole background is the 1st Baptist Church and you can see a corner of the 1st Cumberland Presbyterian Church to the left

The rains are coming and the brick lying will soon end for the day... I grabbed a quick shot out of the office window of progress being made on the $4 million dollar downtown police service center. Brick, roof and interior walls have all been going up in a furry over the last 2 weeks... Completion is now expected by the end of the year
