Hudson Block

Are we really sure that Quicken has anything to do with the development of the Hudson/Woodward Block? From what I understand, they are looking more at the Statler site.

I just hope Detroit can get some serious development going on downtown, development fitting of a nearly 6 million person metro. I would like to not have to go to Chicago to go to a prosperous development rich downtown. I know it's off topic for this thread, but whats going on with the development along the river next to RenCen? It's only been touched on here but it sounded pretty big.

Actually, quicken might go there too! I think there are a lot of places they could go.

I'd prefer a tall, slender tower on the Statler site over a short, stocky box on the Hudson's site, but anyway they go about it, I really hope Quicken moves downtown.
