Verdae Market Fair

I concur locating at the interstate is not a good place for a supermarket. It is bad to be relocating four miles from a populated area with two major hospital systems to another area that is reidentifying itself. The Roper Mountain Road area still needs a supermarket.

The Super Bilo will serve many more customers on Verdae than it ever did at RMR. There is not a grocery store for miles from the Marketfair, the closest being Publix on 291. There are tons of people in the Parkins Mill area, and eventually at Verdae once development gets cranked up, not to mention Mauldin, which doesn't have a proper grocery near its "downtown".

It puzzles me why some thing the parking access is difficult. If you are coming from the interstate, you turn left at the signal onto the frontage road, then turn right. To get back out onto Roper Mountain Road towards Roper Mountain Road Extension, turn left onto the frontage road, and left at the signal.

Passing by the new store, the exterior is another week or two away from completion. The interior work has about a month to go. Landscaping work outside is beginning. The store should be open for business by the end of June.
