Yeah I'll bet some of you didn't know LA had blocks of apartments that look very east coast.

The site of the construction is a new mix-used complex being built on top of the Red Line subway (Wilshire/Vermont)

Dang look at that LA traffic, and its not even rush hour.

No this can't be LA, it must be a mistake

Nice pics, yeah in most of the pics if I hadn't known I wouldn't have guessed it was Los Angeles. Although the palm trees in some of the pics help give it away a bit.

I think its very fair to say that LA is not the poster child for sprawl anymore. Now to get some of those people stuck in traffic outta their cars and onto that red line.

For all the sprawl the suburbs are known for, LA itself is one of the most dense cities in America.

LA is awesome, but its definitely west coast...something about palm trees, suburban density, traffic, sixties mid-rises, and spanish architecture did not remind me of the east coast.
