What I want to know is what happened to all the money the lottery is supposed to generate? Not that money solves everything as clearly discussed in this forum, however, it does help. There is no reason the inner-city schools should not have the same benefits that the richer suburban schools have . . where is the lottery money going?

The state gave the education budget all of the lottery money and took nearly an equal amount of general funding away to pay for other things. There was no monetary gain for public schools. Politics as usual!
