That's a real bummer. Fulton Cemetary holds some of the great's that built this city. You'd think they would want to give it a little more respect. Cemetary's in Boston have a great sense of public space and respect for those that are buried. The city should step up to the plate on this one...

The breakdown is on page 166 of last week's agenda:

There will be a stone veneer added to the concrete on the option A chosen. I believe option B was to add a terraced affect with a walk that would allow access to the cemetery from that side (which was not available before).

Even though the more pedestrian-friendly option would have been nicer, the cost was so high for any of the options that maybe the city was afraid to add something that wasn't there before.
