Just an update:

The north side of the street is pretty much done.

The entire sidewalk is re-bricked. the sidewalk has been backfilled, the pavement of the parking lot has been scraped and re-paved as necessary. new curbs installed in the parking lot so cars do not driveover what looks to be future shrubberies and of course the sidewalk. There is an area left unpaved that looks like it will be some kind of greenery like a tree.

the workers are continuing to do more brick work behind the newstand.

right now a supply company dropped off the bricks for the S side of the streets sidewalk, and the backhoe is moving the jersey barriers so that the N side can open to traffis, and the sidewalk on the S side can be torn up.

Most of the work happening on the S dide of the street involved the utility crews. there are all kinds of things under that side of the street that need to be dug up re built re wired fixed upgraded etc... a week or 2 ago they even caused a gas leak, so expect this side of the street to take much longer than the N side.

The good news is that just today they finally are back to building road, and up by the bank branch they are putting in the new curbing. can not see too much, but its progress.

Utility crews are rebuilding the vaults under the street while the GC is slowing making progress with the sidewalk.
