I agree. Another thing you notice is the slightly more widespread flatter terrain in the old downtown area. Not sure who all is aware, but Kingsport is lower in elevation than Bristol and Johnson City by about 300-500 ft. While Johnson City and Bristol are also fairly flat (being in the valley), there are a few more "hills" it seems in some areas. However, in Kingsport, there is Bays Mountain- which makes a nice contrast in the city.

It looks quite different than the other Tri-Cities.
