CONSTRUCTION THREAD: Greenville Hospital System - Patewood Campus

Both hospital systems have done a great job investing in their new additions/locations. The medical service on the east side is vastly improving.

Work is in the planning stages to upgrade the Patewood/Enterprise drives/Frontage Road intersection. Frontage Road will receive a left turn lane and turn signals added. No word yet when the construction will be underway.

Some updated photos of the facility nearing completion. Really like the way the circular roof detail is looking. Anyone know if these will be uplit?

The new portion of the Patewood Campus for GHS is almost complete and will be opening in June. GHS will be conducting public previews. Article from Greenville News:

I just saw this article in The Greenville News about Clemson University's plans for a bioengineering facility at Patewood Hospital:

Sounds like a great partnership between Clemson University, Greenville Hospital System University Medical Center, and others!

I would imagine there was a TON of work to be done on the inside, given all of the various lines/systems that need to be in place in a hospital before it can open its doors?

Noticed last night that flags are staked out on the empty land between this latest building (the hospital) and the twin outpatient buildings, adjacent to Patewood Drive. More construction on the way?

I think that is supposed to be a parking deck.

With the new hospital open at Patewood, looks like more construction is starting on the GHS campus. A site has been leveled and marked off at the corner of Patewood and Orchard Park. Anyone know what this will be?
