Shooting in Tacoma Mall - Can you relate?

Today we made national news. An insane lunatic was armed at the mall with an AK47. He shot 6 people. But what was most frustrating was that he made us all go home, and closed the mall for the rest of the day. Are anyone of my fellow UrbanPlaneters affected by this? Was anyone here in the mall when it happened? Do you have any photos of the account. I'd like to hear your stories and thoughts. Thanks.

I can't relate to anyone who would do something such as this. One has to wonder what is going on with our society. I hope they put him away for a long time.

I've read a lot about this, the guy seemed pretty messed up, I wonder what really triggered him to do this though. It didn't surprise his ex-gf that much that he did it.

I had friends and family in the area at the time. They saw the police cars rushing to the scene and the traffic backing up around the mall but they didn't know what happened until they got home.
