SPC in post #14 of this thread, seminole states it will be a 4 story building w/one floor below ground. I ASSume that is still what the plan is???

We've been talking about this project for over 2 years. This should be called the tortoise building.

You know this is right in my backyard and I've noticed the trailer across from Cypress and the new sign on the property, I just forgot to mention it. Thanks for doing so. The fence surrounding the property has been there since they demolished the old structure 2 years ago, the fence surrounding the construction trailer is new, but there use to be one there before back when they were working on the Tennyson.

So does this suggest to you that something IS or isn't happening? And I think four stories is decent given the size of the property and the relatively small company for which it will be built. I am glad to see anything over three stories at this point in our city's development. We don't have a whole lot of density yet...

During my errands, I did a "ride by" just for you SPC. The signs on the trailer and fence surrounding are from Cook Brothers (CBI) as are the signs on the fence at the property. FL's correct, it will only be 3 stories high if they follow what they've been approved for and don't make any modifications.

Had to go a ways back to find this thread but we've finally got activity. Excavators with dumptrucks have made a pretty big hole in the ground already, so they should be starting the undergroung parking next month it seems.

Drove by on the way home from work this afternoon - steel framing up to the third floor. The building looks nice and big for the site behind Cypress restaurant. I can't wait to see the finished exterior. It will bring a whole new character to the stretch of Tennessee St. Add Aloft and it gets interesting.
