We will begin with a few photos from before they flipped the switch.

And the lights came on.

I've never seen such a line for Starbucks in my life.

After awhile the crowds became lighter.

This guy just insisted that I take his picture, but the car he was in was moving, hence blurriness.

I'm really impressed with the quality of these pictures. Were these done digital on a tripod? What kind of camera? I'm curious to know.

Thanks. Yeah, they were all done with a tripod, with my digital camera, which is a 4.0 megapixel Kodak DX6490 with 10X zoom and a Krueznach-Variogon lens. It's actually not even a real high end camera, but it's not a cheap one either. Paid $400 for it new in September of 04. Would like to upgrade to something better as soon as I have the money.

aren't those canals filled with sewage? my uncle lives in KC and told me a story when i was younger about it. i was just wondering if he was full of it or actually knows what's goin' on.

Brush Creek has indeed had problems with sewage contamination in the past. Don't know if it's been remedied or not.
