Wonderful photos, and in a variety of locations. The picture story of Battery Park flooding is far worse than in press coverage. The neighborhood and its topography is unique in Richmond. I read that the water finally has been pumped out of the ravine and that blockage in the 9 foot drainage pipe is still being cleared. The residents of the area have been through Hell.

Agreed. From what I had seen on NBC12, it looked like just tennis courts and a couple streets had been flooded. Your pictures show a far worse impact area. Awesome tour of parts of the city we rarely see, Cam!

I think it is. It's a neat little building... doesn't replace the old one, but still neat. This is where brick works!

This is a great picture from the 'Ginter Place' website looking from the Northside into Downtown. You can see some of the highrises look shorter or are non existent because of the slope down to the James River. Anyways this is a beautiful shot that many people rarely get to see!
