burt... pretty overcast day so I probably won't be taking many pictures. But, I do hope you get better soon! It's been lonely around here with just the crickets :)

monk... I'll agree that Monroe is ..well.. not the most attractive building. but I think it could be made to look better.Hopefully, centennial towers will be the tallest in Virginia or at least the tallest in Richmond.

How come all those guys at RCW don't come over to here? What reason do they give you. Well coupe I know that we aren't as passionate as Burt is but we do read your posts. Burt hope you get better. New Years is around the corner. Merry Christmas and New Years to everyone!

OK Coupe. It was under building permits:

Triangle Building LLC owners. MGT Construction Management, contractor. 310 N. Adams Street. Renovation of concrete structure into 25 apartments and commercial areras and parking. $1.1Million.

This renovation will enhance the residential development in the burgeoning area.

Splendid, Coupe!

I'm glad the new restaurant at 1005 East Main will NOT be called Moe's or Fatty J's. The Bank, an eclectic Bar, is much nicer.

The Triangle Building at Adams & Broad used to have an electric sign on the roof reading "Emerick Chevrolet". Within three or four blocks are some interesting architectural styles; The Triangle; the Romanesque heavy Renaissance Building; Theatre IV's Empire which, hopefully will be restored to it's original ornate facade; the Milk Bottle now he site of over 100 apartments; the 5 Gallery (former fire house) and all of the old furniture stores undergoing renovation.

I also like the large Cop, but wish he were suspended on the Grace street side of Police Headquarters rather than on the side street.

More comments soon.

Yeah Coupe, great photos! I ALWAYS appreciate the photos you take and post. I just can't believe I'll actually be there tomorrow!! I'm excited to be going home for a short time, but not excited about the reason for going. I can't wait to explore all the new developments that have occurred since I was there last!

took some pics today! I'll post them later!

...and my legs are killing me from walking so much (also sore from running). It was nice to finally meet you face to face today Coupe. I really had a good time. Too bad the wind was so bad today...made things just a bit chilly. I look forward to seeing the photos we took today. I'll have to post the photos I took Sunday when I get the chance to upload the photos onto my computer. Stay tuned everyone....

Definitely! And I guess this was our first unofficial forum meet today eh?

Well, I guess you can say so. I live in Montana, but was in the area and thought it'd be nice to meet up with Wldcoupe. It was nice...good to be able to actually see who I am talking to all the time. I'll be posting a photo of us together on Sunday when I get back to Montana.
