PART ONE - Palm Beach Atlantic University

To start us off, I'll show you some pics of my college. It anchors the southern end of downtown West Palm Beach. It's great to finally be able to live in an urban area (even if it's in a dorm, lol)

The view from my 7th floor dorm/CityPlace South Tower construction site:

Warren Library construction:

Vera Lea Rinker Hall, School of Music:

Gregory Hall, School of Pharmacy: (two pics put together = ghetto...)

Some nice campus landscaping:

Now, we walk through downtown to our next segment.....

PART TWO - THE FLAGLER MEMORIAL BRIDGE

This bridge connects downtown West Palm Beach to the island of Palm Beach. It was recently completed and replaced the old 4-lane dumpy bridge. This bridge is one of the finest I've seen, with tons of quality lanscaping, lighting, and detailed design. A pedestrian riverwalk of sorts runs along the Intracoastal Waterway and passes underneath the bridge.

The drawbridge tower:

Pillar and a plaque:

My favorite pic taken from the bridge, downtown West Palm Beach panorama: (scroll to the right!)

Finally we reach our destination...

PART THREE - PALM BEACH

After crossing the Intracoastal Waterway, I head north along a pedestrian/bike path that runs parallel to the water. Mansions and boat docks line this walkway. The path leads to a secluded area....

Royal Poinciana Way, a Palm Beach "CBD" of sorts....

The skyline, seen from the pathway:

A sculpture....can you say "Legend of Zelda"???

"The Tree":

"The Tree" again:

The Flagler Museum, Henry Flagler's old estate:

The lawn of Royal Poinciana Chapel, near "The Tree":

And my favorite Palm Beach pic, The Flagler Museum and its secluded beach area:

Hope you enjoyed the pics! :)
