Springdale is set to pass new downtown design standards.  This is big for a town like Springdale, which has avoided stringent design standards for so long:

The proposed downtown design standards were adopted by Springdale.  Walton money is being offered to help with some buildings:

Watching the idiots turn into the new Sam's off of 412 where it was not  designed for that and then watching the idiots turn left  on to 412 there as well seems to call for removing the center turn lane on 412 there.

New development being built behind Casey's and McDonald's on the corner of 412 and 112. 

It will be a Strip Center for retail/restaurants.

Springdale officials announced and broke ground this week on a new 2.75 acre bike park at the Jones Center ... the park will include the Velosolutions Pump Track and Runway Skills Parkalong with a bicycle playground for kids.

This October the park will host the 'Red Bull Pump Track World Championship Final'.

Cycling amenities in Northwest Arkansas are abundant these days - rightfully so as were only behind Minneapolis, Vancouver and Portland in daily volume of cyclist per 1,000 population.
