Streetscape project raises parking, access concerns

Thats a good project for Anderson to undertake. Those concerns are minor IMO. Businesses get too bent out of shape about sharing parking spaces.

Streetscaping up to Greenville Street has been completed.

The stretch from there up to Boulevard and North Avenue needs dire attention. Its designation as a truck route for US-76/US-178/SC-28 Business makes it illogical to narrow it to one lane in each direction; traffic is steady through there. I like to see the median replaced with planting boxes for small trees, plants, etc. to make things more appealing.

I've really got to make an effort to check out downtown Anderson next time I roll through that way.

Thats good news. I haven't been to Anderson much in the past 6 months (except for Clemson Blvd). I need to get over to downtown as well.
