I went by the site today. They've put in brick along some of the spots instead of the usual stucco. This pic is a bit hard to see the progress, since the sun was in my eyes. Sorry about that.

Too bad they didn't spec two over one windows. Would have cost about $10 a piece more and would have made the whole building look so much better!

That sucks, being so close to completion. I hadn't heard anything about it either. I didn't see it in the paper or hear it on the local news. Maybe this was some quick release info they put out on the internet. Hopefully this isn't going to set them back too badly but they made it sound like it was sorta bad.

It seems they have a suspect as well. He was at the scene whenever the firefighters showed up. Doesn't look like floors 1 and 2 had a whole lot of damage but floor 3 suffered. I'm wondering what they're going to do with the project.

It looks like an arrest was made in the arson of the Spring Street Lofts.

Yeah I heard someone mention that on here but I haven't seen any mention on the local news so far. Nice to know they might have caught the guy. But the damage's been done though.

I went by the site this weekend and to be honest I couldn't tell there was too much fire damage at least from the outside. Granted maybe they've done some work already since the fire. Some areas near the top did look a bit black but not too bad.

Yeah this condo development gets overlooked because it's not as tall as other developments in the area but it's a nice one. Now Thia did mention that they seemed a bit small to her from the inside. I don't think she hated them but wasn't overly impressed with them either. You know if you wanted to have a large gathering and if you had a condo there you could just have everyone park at the future parking deck across the West Ave. Not sure if that's a big selling point for them. But being able to walk across the street to go see something at the WAC would be nice.
