Metro District Condos

Yeah this condo development gets overlooked because it's not as tall as other developments in the area but it's a nice one. Now Thia did mention that they seemed a bit small to her from the inside. I don't think she hated them but wasn't overly impressed with them either. You know if you wanted to have a large gathering and if you had a condo there you could just have everyone park at the future parking deck across the West Ave. Not sure if that's a big selling point for them. But being able to walk across the street to go see something at the WAC would be nice.

Seems like I never hear anything about this development anymore. Maybe because it got behind because of the fire. Also maybe because of a lack of interest in The Legacy. The exterior of this development is finished. Even though you don't get the views like you would from The Legacy, I like the look of this development.

You don't hear anything about this project becasue it has been padlocked. RUMOR has it that EWI Construction(?) pulled all subs off of the job and instructed them to file liens on the property as EWI had not been paid in a while.

Again, RUMOR.

our whispers haven't posted to the web yet, but we're reporting that John Nock and Hank Broyles have bought out Brandon Barber and Mitchell Massey in the Spring Street Lofts, renaming the two-building project the Metro District. The four were the original partners on the deal. Nock and Broyles will bring the condos to market in around a month and they plan to recruit Grub's to the Metro Building once Fayetteville decides on a construction schedule for the parking deck behind the WAC at present Grub's location.

Thanks for the info Andrew. This sounds like it is a very good deal for Mitchell and Brandon. I know that they both could use a little financial help and that they need to get rid of some of these almost finished projects. I doubt that wither one are going to be out of the woods yet but at least it is one step closer.
