Looks like some of the projects in this area are having trouble with sales.

The developers of the Galleria North tower have stopped marketing their condominiums and are negotiating with a hotel operater.

If the hotel company decides to build on the Noel Road site, the project would have about 78 condos

Upscale restaurant BLT Steak will be opening a location in Village on the Green. BLT Steak has three locations in New York City and will also be opening a location in Washington, DC. The restaurant will occupy 7,941 sf of space that will front Noel Road and will open in March 2007.

Williams says the retail pipeline has several more deals lined up to be signed. Already on board are Dondi Sofa, 3,851 sf for its first store in the US; Clive & Co., a seven-year-old upscale styling salon going into 1,961 sf; La Bella Belly Maternity, a 1,520-sf flagship store of apparel, accessories and select pregnancy massage services; and Lakeside Cleaners, 817 sf.

Who would have thought that the booming, wealthy north Dallas areas would have trouble selling units. I always love driving down the LBJ through the different areas with mid-rise and high-rise buildings, especially around Addison. The views toward downtown Dallas from the upper levels of the Westin Galleria are amazing.
