From Conrad Hilton to the Indigo

Conrad Hilton's "Million Dollar Mountain", the first hotel he built himself in 1925, is being renovated as another Hotel Indigo. Recently, the hotel was being operated in a lackluster manner as the Hotel Aristocrat. I'm glad to see that this important Dallas landmark is getting some attention. The Indigo hotel chain, a sub-group of Inter-Continental, is growing rapidly. This should be a good fit for them.

My impression is that it is to be rebuilt as a boutique hotel more like Hotel ZaZa, which is really lacking in downtown proper. I would think it would do very well.

Previous management was pitiful, I stayed there a little over a year ago and was sorely disappointed.

Hotel Indigo should be a good choice if you're looking for a trendy boutique hotel. We're getting one in Nashville, and it's starting to look like a nice alternative to the other hotels.
