Here's a pretty big project under construction in Kuwait City.

The Gate of Kuwait will have a built up area of 127,000 m2 and will include car park for 1,600 vehicles,a five star hotel, offices, a conference centre and 5,000 m of retail space. The development will be located at one of the gates to Kuwait City

It kind of reminded me of the Shanghai World Financial Center under construction.
