SHANGHAI [5] The City & A Traffic Jam

Being stuck in traffic is a regular occurrence in Shanghai. But since many of Shanghai's highways are elevated, there are a lot of nice, unobstructed city scenes that are viewable from the highway. Hence my time stuck in traffic wasn't so bad after all. I was quite amazed at how futuristic Shanghai looks from above. Here are some less futuristic photos from more residential areas.

It's nice to see some interesting architechture in Shanghai. Can't let Dubai have all of it.
