Any geothermal heat pump folks in here?

My in-laws have a geothermal heat pump. Their electric bill is around $140 this time of year heating about 3500 sq. ft. They only use gas for the dryer and range.

My wife and I are building a house this year and we're going with geothermal. I'm also putting in extra insulation and going as "green" as we can with the whole process.
