mcheiss 1 Report post Posted December 24, 2005 Al Burj looks a lot cooler to me. Plus, it will be taller than Burj Dubai if built.
NCB 1 Report post Posted December 24, 2005 I just love the sleek, slender design of the Burj Dubai. The Al Burj still looks great though.
Mith242 70 Report post Posted December 29, 2005 Yeah I'd also have to go with Burj Dubai.
mcheiss 1 Report post Posted December 29, 2005 If Al Burj is built, it will stand 200 Floors Tall!!!
dpbaker 1 Report post Posted December 30, 2005 That first image of the Burj Dubai standing there among the other buildings is just awesome to me. It has my vote.
bikes 0 Report post Posted March 20, 2006 Im not 100% sure that Al Burj is going to be taller, and anyways the gap between the completion of these two will be at least 5 years IMHO. I would go with Burj Dubai
Lone Ranger 0 Report post Posted March 22, 2006 Burj Dubai, hands down. Funny thing is, Al Burj is a gorgeous skyscraper too. But the consensus goes with Burj Dubai, and rightly so. There's just something about that building ... I dunno how to say it. That building somehow just looks like a vision descended straight out of heaven -- something that would easily fit into Dante's vision of God at the climax of The Divine Comedy or Bunyan's vision of Beulah Land at the climax of Pilgrim's Progress. It has that kind of untouchable, serene majesty about it. Something surreal. Inspired design, I guess. Compared to that, Al Burj is just a nice skyscraper.
