An new Multi-use Complex is being planned for Mecca, the Abraj Al Bait.

The towers include 6 residential Towers ranging from 27 to 33 Floors, a 60 Floor 5 Star Hotel that can accomidate 2,000, a Large Convention Center, 4 story Parking Garage, an intermodal transit station, 4 story shopping mall, and a Prayer Hall large enough for 4,000.

Construction Should cost more than $2 Billion.

Interesting design. I like how they incorporated some Islamic designs into the building. Although for some reason it just doesn't quite look like what I'd picture for Mecca. Maybe I'm expecting even more Islamic design into the building.

There's just something about the top of that building, aside from the crescent moon. It's just throwing me off or something. I didn't mean that Mecca had to have traditional looking buildings.

Heard there was a hotel collpase in Mecca today. Haven't heard much on details so far though.

Yeah, it was a 6 Floor hotel, I've heard upwards of 50 people have died.
