Savannah! Part 1: River Street

Here is the first part in my series of pics from my recent trip to Savannah. This trip was my first real chance to try out my new camera and tripod, so I took plenty of photos.

Yeah, those were my favorites of the series, too.

Savannah has to be one of the best cities for photographers. Not only is it so photogenic, but the people were so friendly and didn't seem to react strangely to someone taking pictures (perhaps because they are so used to photographers, both professional and amateurs like myself).

Great job with the pics! Especially enjoyed seeing the beautiful "new" bridge. I had heard that the cantilever bridge had been replaced, but hadn't seen the new one. Any idea approximately what year it was completed?

Excellent Pics. I love Savannah. We were there for the Labor Day weekend this past year, and we all loved it.

We plan on heading back there in May.
