Savannah! Part 1: River Street

Here is the first part in my series of pics from my recent trip to Savannah. This trip was my first real chance to try out my new camera and tripod, so I took plenty of photos.

They're great, I really like the one where you are looking through the window at the building.

Those are some great pics, thanks for sharing them. I've seen some pics of Savannah so I knew it's a pretty nice city but I don't think I've seen this area of the city before. I'm looking forward to some more of your pics. :D

Very nice and thanks for posting. I hope you didn't know the party that needed the hearse. I really liked the photo of the sea gull too.

Does Savannah have some kind of trolley as I notice there are tracks in the brick road?

I am curious about the streetcar line in Savannah too. I know that the city was trying to restore the streetcar in the downtown area awhile back. How did that plan work out?

About the hearse: That was part of a haunted tour (the people on the tour rode in it). Savannah isn't called the #1 most haunted city in America for nothing.

Savannah used to have a trolley, but it has long since been removed. It now is pretty much just ornamental.
