Canadians Get Tax Break for using Transit

This is the way it should be. Canadian's may get a tax break if they buy a transit pass to ride on buses and trains. The government feels that less cars on the road is good for everyone. It's neighbor, the USA, should take notice.

It is a good idea, but I just don't know that Americans in general are willing to sacrifice their personal rides for the amount of $$$ we'd be talking about. There is that issue of adequate public transportation in so many areas too that even if people wanted to take advantage of this, it'd still be a greater inconvenience than the break would be worth. Nonetheless, it'd couldn't hurt to try it!
